2018/2019

Radical Storage, formally known as BagBNB, has been offering a convenient luggage storage service for years. It is used known and appreciated by over 300,000 customers worldwide.

With the change of the company name came the need for a new brand identity. Our task was to create the new Radical Storage logo and colour palette to communicate the core values of the company.

EARLY SKETCHES & CREATIVE DIRECTIONS

2018/2019

The branding process journey starts with a brief analysis and research. During this phase, we get a deep understanding of the value system of our client, their shared vision of the company and the communication framework. Based on the obtained information our designers can move on to the visual positioning of the brand following our unique and gradual process we call the “design funnel”.

We start producing several sketches with different levels of fidelity. That's the only way to find the right balanced shape that conveys a recognisable and suitable metaphor for a logo word-mark.

ARROW

The Arrow represents the most disruptive option. It is inspired by the concepts of the luggage and the path or direction - iconic elements for every traveller.

FLASH

Inspired by the concept of fast check-in/check, the Flash uses bright colours, a bold custom font and a minimal logo.

KAWAII

The Kawaii keeps the main element of the old company logo - luggage - intact to emphasise the continuity of the brand. We balanced this legacy element with dynamic gradient colours and associated it with a bold but elegant font.
